Basic Info

Name: Dawn Hawke (Celia Anterna)
Age: 40
Race: Hyur
Patron Deity: Unknown
Personality: Sincere, caring, obstinate.

Appearance

Combat: Dawn has adapted numerous styles of combat gear with her traditional arsenal. No longer, simply a bulwark of steel and chain but also leather and fine cloth, weaved by tempered hands to give her the flexibility she needs to fight. Be it physical or the enhanced capabilities of her magical prowess.Physical: Her snow white hair shines brightly wherever it is, and the messy nature gives her an aura of freedom, to live out her desires as she fits. Her markings on her cheeks, retaining history of her past and her grey colored eyes, having a tale of its own that maybe worth telling.General: Due to some outfits revealing more skin than usual, one would find that her body is riddled with scars of various types, from small cuts to large ones. Gnashing wounds, burn scars. They all tell a tale, some are parts of others, though the knight will not easily reveal their stories so easily anymore.

Hooks

The Snowbird: Dawn is a notable adventurer who made a name for herself when she first joined the guild. If your character lingered at the notable city state inns, you may have heard of this overexerting snowbird around her first years, performing numerous tasks and leves with such efficiency in relatively short periods of time. Though nowadays, she's chosen a more calm approach to her work ethics.Alliance Adventurers' Field Commander: Having been promoted for acts of valor and duty in the battles against the Telophoroi, Dawn is a fresh commander within the ranks of the Alliance. Though she dons on the coat and rank among official business, the knight still prefers a more casual approach as is her way as an adventurer, through and through.Outlander Knight: Though her years within Eorzea are plentiful, she isn't native to the continent and her various runes, sword techniques and mannerisms would show. Those sharp enough to take notice could pry into it but even Dawn's warm attitude can shift as easily to those being very nosey.

Conversation Theme

A Knight's Tools

Dawn's Arsenal has expanded throughout the many years of travel across the globe. Whether acquired from legacies being passed down or forged for Tomorrow's Adventures. There's certainly no shortage of tools befit of a wandering knight, seeking to help others.

Avalon and Arimathaea

Avalon: A massive greatsword made with a material called 'Blackstone'. It's namesake coming from the very nation Dawn calls home.
Arimathaea: A blessed crystal blade imbued by a shard of unknown origin. Capable of harnessing divine magics and siphoning magics from other combatants, Arimathaea serves as Dawn's primary arm to maintain a sort of elegance in the field until the time to be messy is called.

Solace II

A Gift from Yehn's Mother, tinkered to aid Dawn's aetherial disadvantages, Solace II holds a remarkable compatibility to the knight's blessed magic while still leaving room for her studies of proper Astrology. The gems slotted into it are said to be some of the purest aether crystals ever solidified, but not even the esteemed Astrologian who parted it to Dawn admits to such a claim.
She's still learning, but the astroglobe is a wonderful starting tool for her to follow the path of the stars.

Fortitude

The Final Evolution of the daemonic shield; Eclipse. Altered beyond its harsh form into something more refined, it mirrors more like the proper armor the denizens of the void wear in battle. Fashioned into a shield. The crack near the center shows that there is a hardened layer of void blood inside, though it is unknown who it is, and why doe is look like it occasionally moves despite its hardened state. Its full capabilities are still being learned but overall, it helps Dawn harness the darkness when she needs it.

North Star and Vindicator

Avalonian Relics reclaimed and restored to be used on occasions. The North Star and the Vindicator were blades wielded by the Order's Knight Captain and are invaluable marks of honor as a Spartan Knight. Unlike the two other Knight variants in Dawn's Order, these Spartan Knight weapons are equipped with a multitude of runes that improve the wielder's attack capabilities, making them strike faster, harder and more accurately. Whether or not it may prove to be a detriment going all out on the aggressive approach however, is yet to be seen.

Magic

Searing Light: An upgraded form of the Bolt spell, Searing Light has an increased potency of holy magic with a burning like properties of dark fire magic. To be casted like a bolt of light or swung out in a wave pattern, Dawn can prepare the spell for whatever role it must take in the midst of combat.Vanguard's Roar: A mana burst that is cast from the shield using wind magic to knock opponents away from Dawn. A spell meant for defense but can be used to spearhead through an enemy shield line.Mend (Cure): Intermediate Healing Magic meant to ease pain, rejuvenate one's energy and close minor wounds. It can also stabilize those who are more severely wounded and keeping them conscious long enough for proper healers to tend to them.Elemental Ignition: With the power of ancient runes passed down by her people, she is capable in casting a veil of elemental magic on her weapon to deal a variety of attacks for a short period of time. The power of the spell diminishes as time goes on and should Dawn's reserves be near depleted during the cast, she'll only get at least one hit in before it wears off.Aetherial Tether: A levitation spell that allows Dawn to hold a weapon via an aether tether and move it at will. She must remain in absolute concentration to do so and any shaking distraction will sever the connection, potentially dropping her weapon in an unsafe location to collect.Angelic Bastion: A spell that expends almost all mana reserves into deploying a barrier in a dome like fashion to protect herself and her fellow companions. (She can condense the buildup of aether to solely deploy a barrier around her, should she need to prevent a fatal blow from connecting on her own person.)

Equilibrium Manifest

Through trials and tribulations has Dawn fought a battle within herself. Holy and Dark aether struggling to gain control over the other. At last, wrangled and molded together to create a new signature with a reinforced soul. Such does she wield spells combined in the realm of the grey.Silverstride Maneuver: Equalized wind aspected magic that allows Dawn to perform evasive maneuvers on the battlefield for defensive or offensive positioning.Aetherial Shield Toss: Manifesting an aether shield to block blows over the need of carrying an actual shield has its benefits. But having control of its properties gives it another use to be used as a ranged tool, tossing it toward her foes with immense speed and detonating it on a whim to release a devastating explosion to any who are close to the radius.Balance Sundered: Harnessing the equalized aether gathered, Dawn pours it through her sword to release a wave of silver aether in front of her with all of her strength. In an effort to eliminate if not incapacitate her opponents with a decisive blow.Stellarian Judgement: A silver orb that Dawn forms and throws at her opponents, flying over the target to detonate and unleashing a heavy wave of equalized energy onto the victim. The energy pulling them to the ground in a dome of heavy gravity.

Companions

Yehn Maimhov

A Sharlayan hired to care for Dawn in her early years within Eorzea, now her beloved husband who still performs the same duties he was hired to do but now it is the case of a more loving relationship than business.
Yehn is astute in his magecraft and alchemy and is working hard to improve himself to keep up with his active wife both physically and within the magical arts. Dawn wouldn't be where she is without him and she would go to hells and back for even the minor of inconveniences for his happiness.

Kei Ayamine

A relatively close friend of Dawn and a capable warrior one she considers with respect, admiration and love. She watched Kei grow into a force to be reckoned with throughout the many years they've known each other and listens to the huntress' insight should matters weigh on her mind heavily.
She'd move mountains and flatten countless foes to keep Kei safe, if that is what it takes to ensure nothing fatal falls upon her.

Kaguya Kaku

A freeloading Miqo'te turned best friend (who still freeloads the damn cat) who's been through thick and thin with Dawn, Kaguya is a rather smug companion of hers with a quick tongue and quicker stabbing skills. While frontline combat isn't her strongsuit, Dawn respects Kaguya's more skirmishing tactics in both ranged and melee combat.
Though these days, she works with a hammer in most occasions as a successful blacksmith.

Iridia Stellarheart

A young runesmith and countrymen of Dawn, Iridia looks up to her as an inspiring icon of hope. Though still in her youth, the runesmith has suffered through many catastrophes and close calls, making her reclusive at times. But Dawn does her best to bring out that once active personality, to live to the fullest and to walk forward without looking back.

Affiliations

Dawn has ventured around Eorzea for many years and has made contact with plenty of organizations as a veteran adventurer would. Some more notable than others. (Extra information tidbits and Hooks pt.2)

The Aigaion Enclave: A settlement for the surviving members of her people located out in the frontier. The enclave consists of 250 members, civilians and military personnel alike of which Dawn rules as the chosen leader. Though they are currently independent, the people are eager to help their neighbors for allowing them to resettle and restart their lives. Many would take on jobs from the Adventurer's Guild of which Dawn supervises before approving.Phim's Emporium: A subsidiary of her Free Company that revolves around a multitude of goods being bought and sold in the bustling markets, Phim's Emporium has helped Dawn start off with funds and a basic lay of the land at the beginning of her time in Eorzea. It is also the place who hired Yehn to care for Dawn when she was in a worse state than she is now.The Carpenter's Guild: Carpentry was a good past time for Dawn when she needed to wind down. Working alongside guildmates in building and repairing furniture, she built a steady foundation of her skills there but it wouldn't be until restoration efforts in Ishgard that allowed her to soar in her abilities as a woodworking artisan. The Immortal Flames: Started off as a humble adventurer helping out to a liaison in the later years of its war against Garlemald. Dawn has been around Immortal Flames business for some time when the peak of her career allowed her to be the head of an adventuring summoner team. During the battles against the Telophoroi, Dawn would lead her team as a proper captain and clash with tempered forces across Thanalan's Eastern borders around the Paglth'an region. The Alliance/Grand Company of Eorzea: Rising through the ranks of the Immortal Flames and proving herself to be a capable asset, allowed her to be a valuable piece of the vanguard in helping the Alliance against Garlean threat and eventually the Telophoroi itself. Leading well planned assaults in tandem with much larger Alliance forces against weak portions of the enemy defensive lines before retreating to attack elsewhere. Her strength is relatively known by veterans of the war.Ishgard: First contact with Ishgard proper was at the final years of the war, appearing briefly to engage in various skirmishes before disappearing into the blizzards. All further contacts ended until the Ishgard Restoration project was declared and she joined the ranks of countless artisans and more specifically, one of the carpenters to help rebuild what was lost during the war.
However, the rumors coming from long surviving veterans told a snow white knight matching Dawn's description who aided in the war continued to linger.

This is more of an OOC section to showcase Dawn's scars and also what her eyes look like that cannot be seen normally a lot of other people.
It can be a bit hard to look at for those not liking a kind of deformation and damage of the skin, burn wounds, long bladed scars, etc. But it is here to see fully that this knight isn't really pretty to look at, though she doesn't want to hide them. Dawn wants people to accept who she is, the best of her and the worst. And if that is her appearance, then so be it.
If there's anything else that needs to be discussed, send me a tell or through discord if you have the means to go through there. But in game is good enough for me.
